That great team member leaves, someone undercuts your best product or service, or it maybe that you are growing successfully which is fab but then you find that the business can’t really cope – despite the increase in sales, there’s not enough money in the bank, you don’t have the right systems in place, everyone is stressed and overwhelmed, you never see your kids, the business is keeping you awake at night and actually, it’s really just another job (and probably not as well paid) despite all the dreams you had when you started up the business. “Ah but at least I’m in control and not at someone else’s beck and call” I hear you say!
