Modulr is a client payment service we are now using that integrates with our BrightPay payroll software. We feel it's best suited for business owners with more than 5 employees - and understand how it can start to become onerous when you have to login to your bank and make separate salary payments to all your employees.
We send the amounts due for net salaries and PAYE/NI up to Modulr so all you have to do is approve the payments in Modulr and make a single bank transfer (or possibly two if you want to pay the PAYE from your bank to Modulr at a later date). Modulr will send the payments out to the right people at the right time.
What are the benefits of using Modulr?
The integration with BrightPay minimises the risk of re-keying errors and saves time. The system picks up the correct figures to pay and also brings one figure from the bank into Xero. This means that for those employees who have access to Xero, whether they are posting invoices or viewing the bank reconciliation screen, there is no means for them to view individual net pay.
